David A. Dattilio, CPA
David A. Dattilio, CPA has provided accounting, tax and management advisory services to businesses and individuals in the New England area for over twenty-five years. David’s years of service have allowed him to develop an intimate familiarity with client needs while acquiring the professional acumen to develop programs that achieve financial and organizational objectives.
Through his career, David has specialized in strategic planning for individuals and small businesses including not for profit organizations. Specific areas of planning include taxation, financial, retirement, college savings, management consulting, business succession, family wealth, estate, business valuation and small business start-ups. David focuses on proactive and personal services and is committed to the financial success of his clients.
David received his BS in Accounting and AS in Computer Information Systems both from Castleton University. David is a member of the Vermont, New Hampshire and Florida Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Heidi J. St. Peter, CPA
Heidi J. St. Peter, CPA joined Schiffman, Dattilio & Company, P.C. in 2005 after working for eight years in industry and with a regional CPA firm. She has a strong background in audit procedures, particularly with nonprofit organizations and is the firm’s quality control administrator. Heidi’s experience allows her to provide managerial and organizational assistance to our clients. Heidi is a member of the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA and volunteers her time to local school and community organizations.
Richelle C. Schaefer, EA
Richelle C. Schaefer, EA joined Schiffman, Dattilio & Company, P.C. in 2006; she heads up our individual tax practice. She has over twenty years experience in tax return and financial statement preparation in both the private and public sectors as well as extensive bookkeeping experience. Richelle is also an Enrolled Agent and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Steven Rousse
Steven Rousse joined Schiffman, Dattilio & Company P.C. in 2017 as an intern. After graduating from Castleton University in 2018, he became a permanent member of the team as an accountant. Steven has worked closely with the rest of the team to gain experience in tax and nonprofit accounting, as well as bookkeeping. Steven is currently a CPA candidate.
Steven graduated from Castleton University in 2018 with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. In 2019 Steven earned his Master’s in accounting from his alma mater.
Ashley fisk
Ashley joined Schiffman, Dattilio & Company P.C. in 2021. She has a strong background in small business bookkeeping, helping several local businesses over nearly a decade. In addition, Ashley brings with her years of experience in public accounting, with a specialty in auditing. Ashley has also gained additional experience in individual and small business taxation since joining the firm. She is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, earning her master’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Ashley is currently a CPA candidate.
